The GR I Del Mar Debutante Stakes

Here's the GR I Del Mar Debutante featuring American Cleopatra who is a full sister to American Pharoah. Funny thing with Baffert...he ran American Pharoah in blinkers the first time out and he got beat. He took the blinkers off and he quickly began his winning ways. Then Arrogate ran in blinkers first time out and got beat, Baffert took them off and he's been undefeated since. Now American Cleopatra ran in blinkers in her first start, but she won. That didn't stop Baffert from removing the blinkers in her 2nd career start. Is this some new training method for young horses...seems to work pretty good for Baffert:>) Below are the entries and the pp's. TJ
