Gun Runner Sharp In Return

Unfortunately Gun Runner was stuck under quarantine and unable to run in the Pegasus. After nearly 4 months away from the races, he came back in grand fashion at Oaklawn Park today....easily winning the GR III Razor Back in near track record time. I'd imagine Asmussen might give the Dubai World Cup a try after this impressive score?? TJ

He ran around that track flicking those ears. I've always liked ths horse and I hope he goes to Dubai. Very smart win.

Though he didn't win any of the classic races as a 3yo, I was of the opinion he was the 2nd best colt of his crop.
Lot to be said about a horse that goes out and runs his race every time.
