Mastery...Baffert's got another serious Derby contender, won with tons in reserve. This should put him at the head of the class
Iliad...far back 2nd.
Term of Art...picked up 3rd.
Gormley...a tiring and disappointing 4th

Mastery was pulled up and loaded into the ambulance... hope he's OK. :(
Mike Smith said right after the finish line, he felt off in his left hind, so he got off right away.

Hi Skee,
Oh man....that's terrible. Hope he will be OK, but doubt he's heading to the Derby now:>( TJ

TVG reports a condylar fracture of his left front, he is off the Derby trail and will be going into surgery on Monday. Total bummer... hoping he'll be OK and recovers well.

What a shame, just when a stand-out appeared in this crop. Hope he can make it back to the races. Smith is such a great horsemen.
