The GR II Wood Memorial

Postby TJ » Wed Apr 05, 2017 7:30 pm

Not a bad field, if horses like Mo Town and Irish War Cry are ready to return to their former glory? I'm looking forward to seeing how Battalion Runner makes out. PP's below. TJ

Here's the finish:
Irish War Cry...ran a super race, rated nicely and ran over Battalion Runner through the lane...good job by Motion.
Battalion Runner...ran well considering the 2+ months away from the races. This should tighten him up for a good run in the Derby.
Cloud Computing...off awkwardly made a bid to get into contention...but had nothing left.
True Timber...a pace factor tired.

Shoot! I had the trifecta and changed my silly mind.
Irish War Cry redeemed himself in a big way.
