Here's the finish rather confusing finish:>):
Irap...bombs away at 30-1, maiden winner today...looks like the Derby pacesetter.
Practical Joke...got the points he needs for the Derby
McCraken...his 3rd gives him an opporortunity to run...may very well have needed this one, as long as his ankle is good...he has to go.
J Boys Echo...a suck up 4th...but that won't stop Roman's he loves going to the derby:>)

Tapwrit....very disappointing...but Pletcher has Battalion Runner and Always Dreaming, Malagacy and others left, whose names I forgot...it's good to be the King right?? :>)

I don't think he had the best time of it today (McCraken), but this was an odd race, and in my opinion he may not have been fully fully cranked? No point in peaking in this race, right? Might have needed one? I am going with that.
There's bound to be a longshot to shock us each year, and Irap was that one. HMPH!
