The website states he is JC registered. I think they dont do live cover to prevent JC registered foals. Corner the market maybe? Who knows.

How does that happen? Just curious. :)

He was conceived AI - reported as live cover. There was a group done like that and the JC pulled their registrations.

Yikes. How old was he when this happened? Did he breed any TBs whose foals also lost their registrations?

VERY much appreciated! Its a nice reference tool for sure ...

Here are a few more for you:

2006 - James Blonde - pal colt by Guaranteed Gold
2006 - Buckskin Boy - buckskin colt by Guaranteed Gold
2--7 - TwentyFourKT Gold - pal colt by Guaranteed Gold

I can add a few more once I get more coffee into me this morning ... :)

RHF is certainly proud of our GG son TWENTYFOUR KT GOLD (dam BRASS MONKEY). Thank you for mentioning him True Colours! http://www.geocities.com/rhftn02/Shine.html RED WHITE N GOLD'S foals will be coming this year. We patiently wait to see if his foals move like the "Master Dancer" himself. http://www.geocities.com/rhftn02/Patriot.html
The dressage quality gaits that both these young stallions posess crossed with a select few tall and gifted mares, will surely grab the attention of many TB and sporthorse trainers around the world.

reedhill - I thought you were standing TwentyFourKT Gold this year! :) I feel like such a proud "auntie" in the sidelines waiting for these boys to get out there and start having kids of their own ... :)

Its pretty neat seeing the next generation and what they are capable of producing as well, and how they stamp their foals in their own personal way ... :)

He is starting to look incredible in those 23 month old pictures!

Thank you!! "SHINE" has such a nice uphill build, very attractive head, great bone, and legs that don't stop. He will be getting 7 to 8 mares this year. He has already found this new exercise very gratifying!

Anyone tracking other offspring of Lucky Two Bits? (Dam of Glitter Please) There is a 1995 colt from Lemon Bits, and a 2001 mare Lil Bit of Honey both registred as palomino.

There's also at least a couple of other dilute offspring from Lucky Two Bits.

Might be worth tracking down as a bit of an outcross to the Milkie/Glitter Please crosses going on.

I have seen a few of these stallions in person, and what I noticed is that most, if not all breeders are off on their heights. Snowy River is very tall and I think he is bigger then 16.2H, especially by now. He has very good sized bone and is just massive.

Isn't Brass Monkey a very tall mare herself? She looks very leggy in her pictures. BTW ... Carolyn (RHF) is very accurate on her horses heights, she is one person that knows how to use a stick and how to square a horse up on flat ground to measure them. I hope that colt of yours gets some Brass Monkey height if he already hasn't.

THANK YOU! YES, I WAS TOLD SHE IS 17 TO 17.1H. SHINE IS CURENTLY 16.1H AT 23 MONTHS............SO IF HE MAKES 16 3 TO 17 HANDS, WE WILL BE THE HAPPIEST DILUTE BREEDERS IN THE USA!

Actually, reedhill, that photo that you have of Brass Monkey is one that I took of her before she was sold and exported to Canada. That is my little brick house in the background, and she is standing on the front driveway. I don't know who Flying Colours is - but that is not their photo.

Oh.....did you not sell her to either one of these breeders?

Do you not know them?

That is where I pulled it from with their permission, since it was a nice

photo to have since I have her gorgeous son.

By the way, would you like me to take it off my website. I sure didn't want to step on your toes by using it, I had no idea it was not theirs?
