I thought I'd made a post about the striping that shows on the barrels of CAB's babies. It's less noticable on CAB's babes than the others you posted but it's there. I recently read on another site somewhere that it was thought that rabicano and roan might be related somehow, but it was late at night and I didn't write down the address . I'm going to have to do better when I'm sleep searching at night. I'll try and find it again.

Slip Catch had so far 4 roan offspring and I think everyone will agree that these are TRUE roans.

Any update on these important cases? :D

I saw the Bletchicano/Slip Catch filly a few weeks ago. Very like Odd Colours. My biggest concern on this one & her full brother, who presents as blue roan, is that their parents are half brother & sister.

Wow... would really like to see more recent photos on these important cases.

Also, would really like to confirm the ultimate official registry name for the colt because there is practically no available information under that name.

Are you familiar with the entire story behind what happened with the stallion?.. I will post a link here. (This is not in anyway to 'knock/ or even discuss the owner..but to explain why its such a shamozzle!)

http://www.geelongadvertiser.com.au/art ... _news.html

In relation to your questions.. i dont have photos..but can point you in the direction of the "id certs".. If you can manage to read the vets handwriting, you will see that most are described as having Heavy white ticking. I will try to contact the breeders and see what they can come up with.

Goldhill Park
No prize money

In the Hand
No prize money
is an interesting one. Will briefly explain how the ASB works.. (Australian Stud book).. Every now and again you will find a horse listed as NTB.This means Non thoroughbred, but is in the studbook since it was a sprintbred horse..(The two studbooks were combined a while ago).. However, they are all clearly marked and are not the same as a TB.. This horse In the Hand is one of those.

Lilac Hill
$22,245 prizemoney
is actually racing,

Red Noble
no prize money

http://www.studbook.org.au/horseidcerti ... hid=637403

Whistle Down
No prize money

http://www.studbook.org.au/horseidcerti ... hid=733873

Bending Star
has no id cert..(she is an older mare). She went to Catch a Bird twice, one she lost, and the other is this unnamed filly

http://www.studbook.org.au/horseidcerti ... hid=661523

Wild Dove
No prize money

http://www.studbook.org.au/horseidcerti ... hid=661535

Slip catch being older has no id cert.. she did have 7 foals that are listed.

Turfside star
minimal racing for $3325 prizemoney
Note the unusual brown /black mark above the brand..9there was another post on here about a similar marking on another horses quarters?)
http://www.studbook.org.au/horseidcerti ... hid=701651

Floyd
Not sure if this is the correct one
http://www.studbook.org.au/Horse.aspx?hid=500170

Bletch Catch is not listed.
