Any comments on the intensity of their color and or their markings if any?
I am always asking myself how frequent black Thoroughbreds with heavy or semi-heavy white markings are among black colored Thoroughbreds.
By the way, I am always noticing that it is not a rare occurrence
that many black Thorougbreds are consistently carrying relatively
close grey ancestors perhaps sometimes even more than (officially registered) black ancestors themselves.
Another thing I have noticed ---but this one is related to greys--- is that many grays who produce chestnut progeny tends to produce them with
unusually high leg markings. The name of Dawn Quixote (by Grey Dawn)always comes to my mind. Grey Dawn was also the sire of the very white-haired influenced, Vigors (1973). What a coincidence!
Seems like the sport needs another Intentionally huh?
