Finally.... some bling on my foals!

Postby Evenheaven » Sat Jun 21, 2008 5:20 pm

This colt was born this morning and is a Chet DT x August Sunset model. This colt is my mare's first foal with any white... she comes from a long line of all brown horses and yet she had my color this year!

Now, that's a flashy little guy if there ever was one! He looks like a hot rod - with flames. Congratulations.

Wow... how awesome. Is the white comming from the sire or is this out of the blue?

Is this foal an overo? Can it be registered as a paint? The color does come from the sire, doesn't it?

The color comes from his sire, Chet DT and yes, he is overo. We are so tickled by his color and conformation! :)

I agree with all of you particularly with "Bayrabicano": looks like a hot rod!
How about

CHEV GT SUMMER ROD 8)

for his name?

Thanks for informing this case.

Evenheaven,

Is there any description on the color of his eyes you would like to add?
From this angle looks interesting, or maybe is the color contrast.
Thanks again,

Jorge-
I have looked at this colt's eyes in different light situations and at times I believe his left eye is dark blue, but then it looks brown. I'll keep trying to figure him out as we at the barn enjoy him! Here's a picture of him running around - he is fun to photograph![img][/img]
