Tightly--mare--Alydar x Excitable Lady

The black and white photo of her at a sale sure makes her look like a palomino. Her granddam was named Champagne Woman. Was she only chestnut with flaxen mane and tail?

She looks flaxen chestnut to me, but it is hard to tell from a black & white photo.

I put in my vote for flaxen chestnut. Palominos are normally solid on the leg color all the way to the hoof and chestnuts are known to have lighter color from the coronet to the pastern/fetlock.
