I found this cute colt

He is sired by a welsh and out of the tb mare, Patina. For him to be a cremello his dam has to be a palomino. I have never heard of Patina and I am wondering if she is only 1/2 tb. The Patina's I see on this query don't show any dilutes in the pedigree.

i found a site where she is listed as grulla... i doubt that she is a purebred TB and she most likely is not registered.

Not to be off topic, but I believe one of those pictures showed a "coming 3 year old" jumping in a show. Now, I know that the jump was nothing more than an 18 inch cross pole but I have a hard time believing that the pony's knees were closed..... and racing 2 year olds gets so much bad press????

For some reason people like to pick on the race horses more even though it is happening in every discipline. Maybe b/c racing is made more public to everyone so it gets seen? Where hunters and jumpers are not aired on TV as much so "out of sight out of mind." I recently saw someone advertising their yearling for sale in foal. Geez don't people know any better?

I actually contacted the owner of this colt. Number one reason is that i"m looking for a pony sized stallion for a small maiden mare, and the second is that he's a great looking guy.
She's trying to sell him and will keep me in the loop so I can breed to him next year.
I also asked about his dam and her pedigree/color. I'll see if she is actually a purebred thoroughbred.
