Irregular white?

Postby ArchDandy » Fri Sep 12, 2008 12:22 pm

On the jockey club papers for my filly Media Luna, the description of markings tells of "Irregular white on left hind leg" she has a sock there that is jagged and the black and white hairs mix to form inch wide band of grey hair, and she has roaning on her belly. Dont they normally call socks, socks? or is my filly sabino? I can include pictures if anyone wants to look.

If "she has roaning on her belly", then most probably, she is a sabino-pattern carrier. The photo is also suggestive of this pattern. Looks like she is descending from Hail To Reason or Northern Dancer.
