Postby color » Tue Oct 14, 2008 4:57 am

I took some pictures today of my frame overo colt that Nancy from ColorWorld bred.

Hope the link works:

Awesome! I'm so jealous! Have you had him color tested yet? He looks seal brown to me.

Yes I think he is darkest version of brown but so much looks black that I forget that he is EE Aa, so he must be darkest of brown. He looks black bleached on some parts in the sun but without sun looks totally black, very odd.

Wow, Gwen -- he's stunning!

His markings make his neck look like it goes on forever.

What's in his future? Racing? Showing?

I hate that look of the neck - the neck is in fact very nice but only if you look really close and see the frame around the white. If you look from far he looks like a giraffe which he isn't.

He will go for the approval in spring 2009 and then can also breed WBs, Arabians and whatever mares, not only TBs. Just like I did with The Alchemist who will have to go through his stallion performance test in 2009 to be lifetime approved for breeding.
