Interesting markings

Postby summerhorse » Sun Nov 23, 2008 8:18 pm

I wonder if this horse had a fungus or some kind of scarring (perhaps from a skin disease or gall from a girth) or maybe a uterine mismark or is this some weird sabino/dom.white thing?

I'm going to guess mismark or scar without knowing his pedigree.

The second picture shows the head better, and it appears the horse has lip white. So, my vote would be for sabino.

Looks more like some girth fungus that caused the hair to grow in white when healed. It is on both sides right where the girth goes. I had a QH that got girth fungus and healed the same way.

Hmmm, really don't feel that auspicious. Seen similar cases before, especially, in the legs.
