First European born Palomino TB filly

Postby color » Sun Mar 15, 2009 2:19 am

The girl was born on March 14, 2009. She is very pretty and has two white stockings on the hind legs and a white sock on the front. Jumping around all day long - maybe one for the German track.

Her sire is RFF The Alchemist and the dam is a race bred mare named Khamsin Wind, she is by the famous Platini (Platini won 1,179,646 Euro) out of a mare by the also very famous Windwurf (Windwurf won around 700,000 Euro). Khamsin Wind had 10 places and 2 wins herself.

If you want to trace German lines and wins, go to http://www.vollblut.de and on the right side click on Pferdesuche. There type in the name you are searching and you get the horse or the list of the similar names. then click on the horse you want and you get the basic informations.

As "Tony the Tiger would have said: "Its-gr-r-r-eat!"
Glad to see that there are some breeders in Great Britain interested in producing Thoroughbreds of rare coat colours!

Jorge,

I am in Germany. Last year we had the first European born Maximum Sabino Palomino (white with palomino medicine hat) and Cremello TB colts.

This year started bad with Palomino TB twins that did not make it. So I am very happy with this lovely filly. There are three more TB foals awaited:

Dressed To Dance x RFF The Alchemist
Shew x RFF The Alchemist
Canadian Script x RFF The Alchemist

I hope for healthy colorful fillies...

You cannot see anything in a foal taken in the box stall. I hate short legs and a big head as you take a picture from above in the box stall. I prefer them outside and jumping around to take pictures and an indoor I do not have unfortunately :-(

I personally can't wait to see Canadian Script's foal - Canadian Kid's standing in my stable, and I am naturally interested in Kid's kids, grandkids, etc.

Wishing a boringly safe & normal foaling, a lovely filly -- and good weather so we can all see pictures of all your foals.

Still lots of mud, rain, then snow and sun, crazy weather, I took some pics yesterday. Very fast filly, mom has problems to follow her, jumped the rest of a silage bale in crazy speed, run almost over a pidgeon, see yourself. Sorry for the mud but cannot change weather.....

Congratulations on a lovely filly. I have to tell you though, when I look at photo 3 of that jump.....I got the funniest feeling. It's as though you can see some kind of promise there. She appears to be a natural born jumper. Hold onto that photo.

Do you mean she could be good for steeple racing? I hate those as they often end deadly for the poor horses.
