I am VERY curious Vanessa ...

Several things that I noticed "missing" on your colt that we always seem to see on North American runners:

1. Blinkers
2. Tongue Ties
3. Bandages

Do you not use these as a "normal" thing for running in France???

Those photographers pictures are just beautiful as well! :)

We wouldn't use these as the 'norm' either TC..only unless they needed them.
We never use bandages over here ..ever..incase they came loose.
Only ever see boots on racehorses that are hurdling or chasing really.

Exactly, it's not the "norm", it's just when a horse really needs it/them.

So many thanks to all of you for your encouragements :D

Beautiful colt - just gorgeous!

I do not routinely use blinkers, tongue ties, or bandages on my horses - it is not "the NORM." If a horse tells me he needs one of the above, then we use it, but it they are certainly not something we use automatically racing here at Mountaineer. Speaking for myself only, of course. Lots of trainers only use wraps if the horse runs down. Ditto for tongue ties - only if the horse displaces, or blinkers - only if the horse requires them.

Hi everybody,

I'm going to show my colored TBs to a major event in Paris (here : http://www.salon-cheval.com/ )
, and it would be very kind of you if you could email me or post some scanned press releases talking of them and their origins.

Here people can still hardly believe real colored TBs exist.

So many thanks per advance.
Vanessa.
