Who wants to see the GG man?

Before any comments... his hand was NOT up under his jaw as it appears. It's an illusion. I have another photo to prove it.
That is Guaranteed Gold and my husband (or Mr. ACC as Donna/True Colours deemed him ). We want to be sure to mention that he didn't need a chain, no one was asked to step back as he went by, someone that had never met him before led him in when all of the mares were already inside and how he stood so nice and quietly for pictures and just tried to eat his hat (in a very kind way)...
What a doll he is. You just can NOT expect any more of an actively breeding stallion. He's just exceptionally kind and personable.
He is BY FAR more attractive in person than I could have ever imagined... and that's saying ALOT. He is so filled out and mature looking, and SO CORRECT. We're just extremely pleased with him. My husband is one of the pickiest people I've ever encountered and he knows our mares flaws inside and out and he has said that he has yet to see a stallion he believes could compliment her any more than this one.
Additionally, Donna was an exceptionally courteous host and we had a WONDERFUL time with her. Her sister Laurie (Special Effects) was an excellent tour guide and we had a blast with her as well. We couldn't have done it without her and she made it so enjoyable. These two ladies are definitely friends worth keeping. I've made the promise that I'll go visit them every time I go to Buffalo to see mom now.
Thanks ladies!!
I'll post more photos once they've all been looked over by Donna & Laurie.

Wonderful photo of the two studs!

Happy Boys!
It's nice to see other studs are able to have a good roll and get up knowing their owner is smiling back at them, appreciating all the grung

There is so much work that goes into bathing a light horse, someone should start a post: "Can yours be any dirtier than mine?"

Yes, and I'm told he was clean RIGHT up until the time we got there. *sigh* It matters not to me, I'm used to seeing mud. LOL

I'm sure one day when Reid meets you he will give you a big hug and kiss for
THAT comment!!!

I have DECREASED the porker's feed a LOT!

He is on just under 4 lbs of feed a day and free choice hay. Mind you the hay is excellent so that helps a lot, but he is on very very little grain overall. I'd feel guilty feeding him less!

Yes, Donna is very right. He WILL give you a hug and a kiss for that!
I know about that feeding. It's a shame really. My mare is on no food (vitamin and mineral supplement only) and has had a muzzle on all year and she's WAY, WAY bigger than GG. ROFLMBO! I guess that baby has NO CHANCE of being anything but massive. *sigh*

Oh he's even better than he appears.

As I said to him... the ideal man, a cowboy - but a cowboy that's into thoroughbreds!

I mean how much better can you get than that??

On the contrary, I think purple is just about ALL he wears. *rofl* It's one of the things that drew me to him actually.
Yes, we are BIG LSU fans in this family. (We're all from Louisiana orignally.)

Oh goodness yes. LSU should give lessons. ROFL
I didn't realize you were in Texas. That's where we moved from when we came to Kentucky. While I was never affiliated with it, I'm pretty familiar with TCU.

It's OFFICIAL! She's BOOKED!

Thanks Donna! We are over the moon about this!!
The collage is just a little something I threw together REALLY quick. Pretty cruddy job, but anyhow. It was created from these two photos:

I may do something that shows both with hubby and the hats as well as it has a little more meaning.

This was just for fun to celebrate the event!
