Thanks to millionaire, EXPRESS TOUR, the tail-male-lineage of Secretariat
is still alive and kicking. Let's cross finger for Museum Tour and other members of Express Tour's lineage.

Coat color breeders are responsible for part of the merit!!! :D

Was Medaille D'Or the foal Fanfreluche was carrying when she went "missing"? Most of you are probably too young to remember that, but it was big news here in Canada. Outstanding Cdn race mare in foal to the great Secretariat....goes missing...

I am, most likely, wrong, but I believe that the foal she was carrying then (by Secretariat) was named Sain et Seuf

Which I believe means Safe and Sound in French.

When "Betty" the name the family gave the stray mare was recovered still in foal and in good shape, the foal was named Safe and Sound for perfectly reasonable reasons.

Wow I still remember the expectation when Secretariat went to stud. The mightiest racehorse was about to duplicate himself. Even his first covering to an appaloosa mare from which an impressive appaloosa-Secretariat look alike colt was achieved was great news! Coincidentially, many great racing mares (like Franfreluche) and many great broodmares (like one or two good mares by Ribot and a full sister to Raise A Native, just to mention a few) were lining up to his court.

For that reason, what a great joy to see his tail male lineage surviving via,

EXPRESS TOUR (Chestnut H 1998) :D

not to mention Secretariat's incredible and unquestionable value as a broodmare influence. :D :D

no, Georgerz - you are absolutely correct, I am wrong! I completely forgot about Sain et Sauf (Safe and Sound)!! Of course!!

I guess Medaille D'Or came later.
