Interesting boy. Bad, bad photo of him, but I think there's some potential under there. I wish he were taller.

Maybe black... I do not like him as a stallion for sporthorses at all.

Isn't it ultimately not a coat color issue but a skin color issue that they can use to tell black vs. dark bay? I saw in that twins thread that one foal was black, the other chestnut--I still can't get over the shades that baby fuzz can be only to be told, e.g., "Oh that's a grey" or something. Is there a quicker way to tell just from eyeballing? How do you know there's an actual bay under the light brown fuzziness?
Not gonna lie, kinda tickled at the idea of having a black stallion. Not that I'm gonna buy one. Just sayin'... I'm a Walter Farley fan.

No, I keep hoping someone will trace her via her tattoo, since I have a note on her pedigree query page and just let me know she is out there. This was going on 8 years ago, so all I can do is hope she is OK. Having one stolen is hard, but I would feel better if I had anyway of knowing she didn't end up in a bad place.
