Fabulous color with some of my favorite names behind her.

Nice to see one of my favorites putting some color down, if minimal. I wonder if she has the white hairs like her sire.

I saw Flashy Bull at Saratoga in his 2 YO year up close, and he looked quite a bit like this color with the spots. He was also being a jerk about having a hind shoe put on...first time I've seen a blacksmith look really pissed.

OK so this begs the question: I know many crooked / uphill yearlings grow out of it and even up, but some of them already look like stallions. Are the ones who ALREADY look great going to stay that way? Or can they get awkward growth spurts again and end up like St. Trinian's? (Sorry, you're a brave mare, but damn you run funny).

That one will simply be grey before too much longer.

TBs mature early but they're all going through growing stages until they're at least 3. The rare ones start out looking great and stay that way; but most look fine, then fall apart, then (hopefully) come back together again as they mature.
Some of the yearlings that look nice and balanced at the sales have already had their major growth spurts and stay that way. Others don't. And some just fall apart all together. The best you can hope for as a breeder is that your yearling isn't going through an awkward stage at sales time.

Yes but for right now she is rose gray, one of my favorite colors and considering how pink she is, she could keep a variation of that shade for years. I had a filly like that and even now, at six, she has some golden chestnut shine in with the gray.
