Hip 3343 - Masked Phantom, ch. c. -- Purge x Five for a Nickel

Four high whites and looks like he has a belly spot.

Here are a few more interesting phenotypes:

I didn't get a good screen grab, but this guy had a definite skunk tail: Hip 3544, Dark Bay or Brown Colt -- Purim x Sharp Tradition by Sharpen Up (GB)

Here's a pretty girl to go with the pretty boy: Hip 3328, Chestnut Filly -- Master Command x Energy Rush by Canaveral

And here's a bay with a grey tail: Hip 2992, Bay Colt -- English Channel x J. D. Flowers by Dixieland Band

I've got in person photos of 2992 and 3544. When I get to them I'll post them here. I've got close ups of both tails.

Did you get a picture of 2753?

Bay Filly by Exchange Rate x Tina's Goal by El Corredor

It looked like she has white spots/Birdcatcher ticks, but I couldn't get a good capture:

I don't *think* so. Is she gray? They could be Tetrarchs. I've seen lots of those lately.

She's listed as bay in the program:

Her sire is grey, dam is bay.

I'm betting she's actually gray. Her overall shade doesn't feel right for bay and those just don't look like Birdcatchers to me.

It'll be interesting to see if her color gets changed as she gets older -- she's officially registered as dark bay or brown.

Yup. I'm putting her on my list to keep track of. I'm betting she changes.

Doesn't gray usually become obvious long before they are yearlings? All the gray babies I've ever seen start looking gray as soon as they start shedding their foal coats...is it common for them to turn gray slowly over years?

Some do. I saw several at this sale that I wasn't even totally sure WERE gray. In fact I find it rare that a yearling have lost much color yet. Be showing gray, yes, but be lightening yet, not really.
