I think the above bay looks more wild bay with a gulastra plume (flaxen tail). The top bay (still love!) might also get white from her bottom line which goes to Northern Dancer. Hard to tell without a picture!

Would LOVE to see updated pictures on these 2!

Does anyone have names for them as well?

I like that first bay colt! The second bay has a gulastra plume tail I think.

The bay colt by Johar x Allegedly Yours is now named Jos Blue Eyes. He has been gelded :( and last raced on 5/1 at Mountaineer, finishing 6th in an allowance.

The chestnut colt by Songandaprayer x Western Hemisphere was named Fantoms Fate. PQ lists him as being deceased in 2010. :(

accphotography wrote:It's NO QUESTION Gone West on the bay IMO. On the chestnut he's getting it from both sides (both parents) but I am not really sure where they got THEIRS. Unbridleds Song definitely has some suspicious kids so I suspect him on the sire's side. General Meeting definitely has others so him as well but not sure who beyond that (probably Nijinsky).

You sure? Looking at my blue eyed mare , Peek a Blue Too and the blue eyed bay here.... They are all Hoist The Flags

Given he only had a tiny little star and very little white in his family, I wouldn't suspect him.

Why that tendency?

Because they think no one would want to breed to such a 'weird' horse. Or worse, some think that their color means they can't have talent.

Hm. It has been my experience that most of the people I know who have gelded a horse in training have done so as a last resort "brain surgery" to correct attention deficit, or lighten up a horse getting so heavy and muscled in the shoulders and neck as to threaten front leg soundness. Pedigree and color seem to fall much further down on the list of "why".

Bay? With so much white on the legs it's hard to tell, and you can't see the ears that well.
