Charlie’s quote:
“I have a Stallion named TARQUIN SILK whom I bred, his Dam Eureka Girl was by Loving Jim,by Jim French/Graustark,Ribot. Her Dam was National Maid,/Coronation Boy/Never Say Die bloodlines.etc.
Tarquin Silk was born in 1999 and is a Steel Grey His Sire is Steady Eddy/by Go Dancer. I bred a foal by Tarquin Silk out of my Mare Octickle,by Eagling/Nureyev/Northern Dancer.
My friend own Crown Classic by Regal Classic she has a Daughter by Tarquin Silk who is a 2 yr old now.(unamed) I am in Adelaide, South Australia.”

CAN SOMEONE FROM AUSTRALIA TELL US MORE ON THIS GREY STALLION,
WHO SEEMS LIKE THE ONLY “GRAY-TAIL-MALE-LINEAGE” CARRIER LEFT BY THE GREAT NATIVE DANCER?

To our Australian friends:

I am trying to update information on TARQUIN SILK (1999) who apparently is the only "gray-tail-male" lineage carrier from Native Dancer.
Can you make available and update his progeny. At least allegedly he covered a mare named Octickle (by Eagling/Nureyev/Northern Dancer)
and Crown Classic by Regal Classic. Tarquin Silk stands in Adelaide, Australia.

Thanks in advance for any assistance on this one.

I am interested in knowing if the tail male lineage of Dancer's Image still survives, via Godswalk or another branch. The lastest information I received was about a certain sire named TARQUIN SILK. His name even appears on a sire book (TBH), but that's all!

Came across this very interesting new information on the gray-tail male lineage of Dancer's Image:

From time to time, Dancer's Image can be seen as a healthy
Broodmare influence. Do you remember:

One is a filly out of Crown Class she is by Regal Classic, the Colt is out of my Mare OCTICKLE whose Sire was EAGLING/Nureyev. I have just received this updated information on some of Dancer's Image
descendants. Not precisely on his tail-male-lineage legacy, but as proof
of his still surviving general legacy. Here a couple of good names:

FEROCITY (AUS) (grey h 2002) http://www.pedigreequery.com/ferocity3
(LION HUNTER [Broodmare sired by Godswalk] out of CHIARA by LAST TYCOON

ANY SUGGESTION (AUS) (grey h 2001) http://www.pedigreequery.com/any+suggestion
(LION HUNTER [Broodmare sired by Godswalk] out of ADVISABLE by REGAL ADVICE

Just from the oven!
Beautiful, grey-tail-male descendant coming from
the strain of Native Dancer (1950), then Dancers Image (1965),
then Godswalk (1974), then Beneagles (1980), then Majales (1989).
