I took a listing a couple days ago for a very nice, well mannered, liver chestnut stallion. He has some small white spots throughout his coat that his owner pointed out to me. She said that they were signs that he has a likelihood to throw some bling to offspring. Can anyone verify this? He also has the sabino lower lip and oh, did I mention - FOUR WHITE SOCKS! This guy is such a lovely stallion. The owner did say that he would need a course in Romance 101 if sold for breeding because he currently has absolutely no interest in mares - he is that well behaved.
I am hoping the color experts here can tell me if these small spots have any significance - I am clueless when it comes to color, other than sabino/rabicano.
Here are a few pics. For anyone interested in seeing more, his webshots album is at http://pets.webshots.com/album/580575773QyAKFL
His pedigree, for those interested - http://www.pedigreequery.com/el+quixote
Thanks for any information, color gurus!!
Some small white spots - indicate color producer?
