Ah yes, just found my pic of him. Black Beauty indeed. I see he's got at least one black daughter too (Mother Russia).

Yes, she kind of reminds me of Black n Beauty.

Shame he is gone. There are more foals out there by him than I first originally thought though. Had some good winners for a young stallion.
We will NEVER see another Ruffian......

The filly is definitely brown. Can't see her mother well enough in the pictures there to tell but she looks brown.
ETA: In the head photo on their page Just Gabi looks black and they had another black mare in the archives, Million Dollar Baby or somthing like that. Looking through their foals they had a nice batch of interesting markings!
