Vasco PIskui is manchado. Not a doubt. Is that the question?

Anyway this one is owned by the same person and is also a manchado.

It is listed as VP but it is not. I THINK this may be his mare Vasca something, Rosa? Rosa Piskui? Jorge, can you dig up any of those old posts of this guy, her pedigree is there. She is not pure TB I think. She has an appy look but I do not recall any of the Heguy's "ponies" being appy colored so I think it is just manchado doing its thing.

Reference from another thread recently posted here; the "Marumatso".

I think we discussed these horses on one of the color threads several years ago. I think somebody posted a photo of one of these horses that was a famous polo pony.

Linda_d,

Most probably you are referring to the following Thoroughbred case:

ROYAL MANCHADO (Chestnut H 1990)

As for the Polo Pony, most probably you are referring to
VASCO PISKUI (Bay G 2000)

I emailed the photographer and she said this new picture IS Vasco Piskui (and it is a gelding if you look closely). She said she had a pic. of Vasca Rosa somewhere and will look for it so will let you know. It is possible the names were switched, that someone just assumed the wild colored horse was Vasco Piskui and they didn't know he had another one. It is annoying the would publish his name as such if they didn't know for sure.

OK the pictures ARE reversed. The wilder one originally thought to be Piskui is Vasca Rosa. And this one is Vasco Piskui. I asked her if I could post them under his name. I did change all breed so Rosa's pic. is now correct.
