Saw this fellow on TVG earlier - he's US-bred, but is a stakes horse in Trinidad. *Huge* white marking on his hind end.

A photo can be seen here:

....and here is his pedigree:

That is a very, very, very common mismark, ESPECIALLY in Thoroughbreds for some reason. I'm not saying it's common to see one, but if you see a mismark, especially on a TB, 90% of the time that's where it is.

Wow quite a rare interesting marking. Alas he already has a name, for
the name "APPYWANNABE" would be a good one!

We all know about the influence of Northern Dancer (two doses here) but be aware that this horse is carrying the names of Hyperion (via Noholme) and Balladier (via Nodouble and via Haughty). Then there is Pennant. In synthesis, READBETWENNDLINES is carrying very powerful sabino-influenced remote doses.

Thank you so much for the valuable watch!

So is a mis-mark, a stocking that took a wrong turn?

It seems like the mis marked horses don't have much for other markings.

They often don't. It makes me wonder if that spot is ALL of their leg white. LOL
