TINTO -- a flamboyant horse?

Postby Jorge » Sun Dec 04, 2011 10:24 pm

Someone informed me of an Aqueduct horse named TINTO who fashions a flamboyant phenotype. Any picture or video?

Can't find a picture of him anywhere. Can't find out where his sire went either.

There's video available at http://www.nyra.com/Aqueduct/Broadcast/Video/Video.shtml

It's free but you have to sign up for access. He was in Race 6 on December 4.

He has very high white stockings on both hind legs and the right foreleg, as well as a broad white blaze.

OK, Jorge, here are a few shots I have on my computer of Tinto... Hope you can see the white hairs down under his belly/flank/hind legs and he has them in other areas, too. Lots of white hairs all throughout his body.

In looking closely at the odd grey areas at his shoulders, it looks like those areas are missing hair - not that the hair is grey.

I shot a bunch of photos of him at Saratoga this summer and when I have time to wade through my files, I'll post more (shots that show more of his body, including his tail).

I hope they are helpful! :)
