Colorful 2 YOs

Postby Kari » Mon Feb 13, 2012 9:49 am

Eisaman Equine posted pics of their 2-year old prospects. Of course I had to check them out. Much more fun than studying for the boards.

Coolest chestnut shading I've seen in a long time. Is she just going gray, though?

Bay with a blaze and 4 whites. The late sire Invisible Ink seems to throw some white, from what I've seen.

Flashy chestnut girl.

I would guess that she's most likely freshly body clipped. :)

No, she's listed as chestnut on her info page http://www.eisamanequine.com/horses/zahwah-2010-2926.html

There's another filly by Spring At Last with similar coloring. http://www.eisamanequine.com/horses/bare-it-properly-2010-2920.html

Boo! Body clipping takes the magic out of cool coat colors.

Indeed clipped. Pretty typical color for a clipped bright chestnut.

Invisible Ink did indeed throw some extreme white at times. I've even seen a bald face by him. I miss him terribly. I was considering breeding to him this year prior to his passing.

He stood pretty close to us & we almost bred to him last year. Like the unused breeding we had to Stormello last year, it is truly an opportunity lost.

I couldn't have managed it when he was in FL and for $3,500, but when he moved to PA and was $1,500 or $1,00 it was almost a done deal. Even if that weren't true, I adored that horse from day one. I was very sad to hear of his passing.
