Big Brown and ancestress Romanita

What a coincidence! Big Brown fashions an atypical solitary white spot on his left side and his ancestress Romanita (4th dam of Boundary) sports an atypical solitary white spot on her rear right leg. I don't remember if Big Brown has another ancestor/ancestress with such an unusual solitary spot. Although both spots are placed on different locations both are very conspicuous for horses so conservatively coat-colored as these two.

Opinions?

Do they mention the marking? It doesn't look like a marking to me.

Agreed. It almost looks like some sort of pad? In the first picture if you look at the very back of the other hock, there's what looks like the edge of another pad.

Looks reasonable. Since she is not that old perhaps someone
may recall other photos of her. Other pictures out there?
