I got to meet the black mare I bailed out of a kill pen, while in South Carolina heading for vacation time.

Wish I had pics I could share, as she looks true black.

Haven't seen her photo yet but just by browsing her pedigree it seems to me that she is very capable of producing medium to heavily marked progeny (more than herself [and I haven't seen her]) if crossed with more Nearctic doses, no to speak about using Northern Dancers. Mahmoud is also present here. If she is a bona fide "black" mare, then thats an extra bonus. BUT IN MY OPINION, SAVING HER WAS THE MOST PARAMOUNT ACTION. CONGRATULATIONS!
