Ive always been such a fan of Marquetry! Had the one mare by him a few years back - she ended up in FL with her new owners ...

Ah Marquetry, what an outstanding sire.... measured by several standards.
Alas, I don't think he was used to all his potential by color breeders.
Perhaps the best argument in favor of this opinion is that, as far I know,
he never sired a white Thoroughbred.

Nope not even when bred to a white mare. Which I guess means he was not dominant white but maybe another "sabino" (#whatever) that gives the loud white markings and sometimes patches or spots but not DW.
