Really looks more like the himalayan, heat sensitive, partial albinism gene that causes siamese in cats (and mice and a few other species).

Or maybe leucism? A friend of mine has tons of them (all white) on her farm.

They apparently aren't uncommon, if not common.

The interesting part about this one is that it is not patchy. It appears the white is relegated to the cool areas of the body, just like the siamese mutation. The body also appears slightly creamy to me, not pure white, and that also fits with the siamese thing.
