Our chestnut rabicano mare for sale

Postby Jessi P » Mon Dec 09, 2013 5:59 am

My Stamp is a wildly colored 2007 chestnut rabicano mare by Peace Rules. She is a 5 time winner ($73k earnings) out of a stakes placed mare. Measures a hair under 16 hands(15.3 1/2"). A pleasure to have in the barn - she does not crib, weave or stall walk, very good to gallop, easy to work around. Very sweet, calm girl with a kind temperament. Needs some groceries and a freshener. Offered as a broodmare prospect because she has been racing every 2 weeks or so for the past 2 years - she is body sore and needs time off. With a few months R & R she will be a fantastic riding horse or sport horse prospect.

We bought her 2 weeks ago after her most recent race for resale - she needs a new home for Christmas!

At the following thread:

http://www.pedigreequery.com/forum/post ... e&p=313987

I posted the following information regarding possible mates for a mare such as this one:

You can really see the white in his tail in this shot.

While pondering on the possibility of a cross between a pair
of "roaned" equines such as OXBOW; LUCKY CHAPPY;
SWEET RETURN; and SHOW ME THE MOOLAH I realized
that all of these Thoroughbreds are males. Then the
following question came to mind. Can we mention and
provide evidence any mare whose phenotype is similar
to the aforementioned quartet so that a crossed can be
achieved? Would like to know if there is any ratio
of "roaned" males vis-a-vis "roaned" females.

Wow, what a good opportunity to cross this mare with
one of these horses and expect a great occurrence.

Thanks for the suggestions Jorge - My Stamp was sold this morning to a fellow trainer's wife who is in love with her. Stamp will possibly race a few more times for her new owners at some point but as far as I know their main interest is in breeding her. They absolutely love her color and kind temperament on top of her own racing credentials and Mommy's black type.
