A very interesting loudly-marked sabino colt with a very interesting pedigree raced in the 1965 Epsom Derby that was won by Sea Bird. The name of this sabino was Sunacelli (Chestnut H. 1962, by Botticelli out of Astrid Sun by Solar Slipper) http://www.pedigreequery.com/sunacelli
The race can be seen at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bar1ssbSmeI . Look for frame “2:01/3:00”.

Sunseeker, who arrived third in the 1964 Irish Derby (to Santa Claus and Lionhearted) looked like another bona-fide sabino Thoroughbred.
