OH my God! I have been away, but have to say I came back on specifically to ask and learn (still) from Jorge's opinion of a filly we are looking at with unusual pink/grey coloring and pattern, pure TB. I always looked forward to his immense knowledge, he did not have to look anything up; it was all stored in that incredible memory and nonstop knowledge. I did not think this would be the news I would see about the most friendly Jorge!

Jorge always gave this then novice wonderful advice. Never any critical words towards me due to my not having the racing community knowledge those of you do. He made the time to personally private messge me when I was afraid to post "stupid" questions; those that many of you already knew but as someone starting out, I did not, and to gain knowledge is to seek it. I did just that from beloved Jorge, he was very interested in the then little black filly yearling we bought at the KEENOV auction a few years back, a filly that many there said was an ugly ducking and would not amount to anything. Jorge did not think that though. No one wanted this girl, we did, and she has grown from that ugly ducking into a huge, beautiful black swan, who has wired the field many times, even against the colts. I am proud to know that Jorge said she would amount to what she has, and will continue to, in his honor.

God Bless you friend; I am sick to have not known, and I am sick to not have sent you some of her races so you can send me that smiley face like you always did. I am extremely sad for his family, and for all of you, as this board lost such a wonderful member. I have lost a great confidante and friend. So upset to just find out now.. it was always one of those things you 'meant' to do, get back on and get in contact with the wise man, now I will never get that chance to show him the races and incredible wins of the black filly with the long flying tail as he would say, and her auction mate doing very well too, wiring the field over and over again. I am so sorry Jorge.. you will be missed. That grey filly will have a home in your honor, win or lose.

My heart and sincere condolences go out to his family. Heaven sure has gotten much brighter. God Bless you and thank you Jorge :'( :(

I still feel Jorge's loss. He really drove this forum in recent times. Please post your filly anyway. We'd like to see her.
