No, I have a mare that produced a grade I placed runner down there but it doesn't show up on most catalogs (stakes rules vs blk type rules) so I was just trying to learn more.

Well, I can tell you this. Mexico is a "Part-III" country as far as International Cataloguing Standards goes. So even their Grade 1 races will not count for black type on a real sales catalog page.

However, I track the stakes results in that country (Mexico) as well as many other countries. It is not difficult to watch for a particular horse for you. Is it still running? Or was it years ago that this happened?


If anyone is interested, Mexico ran their first Grade 1 of the year for native-bred 3yos. This is the first race of their Triple Crown:
