Yeats is truly one of the great ones. Also noted that Sadler's Wells is the sire of both the first and second place horses in that race. Kudos to him as well.

Golden Jubilee Stakes, 6f turf, will be the racing focus tonight at Royal Ascot. This race and the King's Stand S (5f, run on 16 june earler)
are both part of the 8-race Global Sprint Championship Series.

The oldest in tonight 15 horse field is Takeover Target, born 1999 (Celtic Swing, Shady Stream).

Godolphin's Diabolical is to be ridden by Frankie Dettori...it scored 3rd in Singapore Krisflyer Sprinter last month.

Wonder can Takeover Target overcome the heat...He was the champion of the 2006 Global Sprint Championship.

This is not a criticism; I'm just curious as to why you keep saying "tonight" when in fact the races are run during the afternoon?

OK..it makes sense to use local time so as to avoid confusion. I had Singapore time in mind when I wrote them. Hence
it was 10:45 evening.

Your point noted.

Epsom Derby Stakes top 3 Sea The Stars, Fame And Glory and Masterofthehorse are among 15 runners in June 28 Irish Derby at 4.20 pm local time.

They are also the favorites in that order.

Sea The Stars Derby Double is within reach.

3 super horses High Chaparral, Galileo and Sinndar did it in 2002, 2001 and 2000 resp. Since 1970, 13 horses have won the double.
