Someone was asking why great racemares don't make great producers your answer lies in that article.

Even one of the great breeders, the Aga Khan sent Zarkarva to Dalakhani a cross that has 0 stake winners.

Perhaps the Aga Khan's advisers eschew the nicking Kool-Aid and prefer to breed based on other considerations like biomechanical and phenotype compatibility.

Would you like to bet on wether this colt by Dalakhani wins a stakes race?

Biomechanical and ph......... sounds like BS to me.
