Do you ever get to travel to the stallion farms and take photos? I would love to see photos of their barns and horses :)

Orfebre looks very nice! I would like you to see him at race track if you can!
Thank you so much.

I had been to Hokkaido where many stallions live once.I saw retired stallions there. They won Japanese principal races, like Japanese Derby.
Hokkaido is very nice place! But I can go there rarely because there is too far from my home town

OK! I'll post their photos! Please wait a while because I have to search their photos in my outside harddisk

Japan horse

Postby Bettina » Fri Jun 03, 2011 2:10 am

Hello from Germany,
many thanks for your kind words about my short pedigree notes.

Maybe you are interested to hear a Japanese Thoroughbred is racing in my homecountry. His name is Danon Attacker (5 year old colt by French Deputy - Gold Point by Sunday Silence) bred by Shadai Farm. Admittingly he races mostly in low class handicaps, but recently mangered a second place in a field of 11 horses.

Regards, Bettina

Guten tag Bettina,
Thank you for your information!
Danon Attacker couldn't run well in Japan when he was young. He may be a late bloomer.I wish him to run well in Germany in the future.

And I'm looking forward to waiting your information about pedigree if you can because your explanation is very clear.

Bis bald
Kazushi

・Tokyo Derby(pattern race of local government racing,dirt 2000m,for 3yo,Tokyo City,Jun.8 )

In Japan, each local government racing holds each Derby. There are 6 local government derby races in Japan.
Tokyo Derby is for 3yo horses which belong to southeast area of Japan.
As I live near Toyko,I'll post about Tokyo Derby.

Clave Secreta by Wild Rush(US)won the race.
She won 2 races of Japanese southeast triple crown races against 3yo colts.
She will aim to win last race of triple crown named Japan Dirt Derby(Japanese limited group1,dirt 2000m,for 3yo,Tokyo City,2011.7.13.).
If Clave Secreta won the race, she becomes a Japanese southeast triple crown horse and a Japanese 3yo dirt champion horse.

Here is Clave Secreta.

I think you are! I spoke with Annette at Gainesway the other day and we spoke of you, Testa Matta, and Tapit. We both wished Testa Matta luck, but it just was not his best day. Hope he returned well.
