Today the Oaks for the fillies and tomorow the one and only Derby!

Today the fillies race is open, tomorrow Aidan O'Brian saddles 7 of the 13 runners.

And the winner was a daughter of the famous Frankel. Read the story, the breeders (Meon Valley Stud) are already many years involved in the sport, famous colours black and white balls.

In a few hours time the Derby meeting starts....in the Derby I have a soft spot for Telecaster, since he is by a daughter of Shirocco and bred by - again - Meon Valley Stud.

We saw some great racing with again a Derby winner bred by Coolmore and by that great sire Galileo.
Today at Chantilly the French Derby!
