Hi. I just picked this up on my Facebook page. I'm involved in trying to do something to stop the slaughter of horses in Canada. Ellie is one of our members. PLEASE HELP IF YOU CAN!~!!

I am trying to help spread the word about some horses in need of help.
They are located just outside Las Vegas, in Logandale,NV. The entire herd is to
be sent to Canada by mid fall for slaughter including the pregnant mares and the
foals. The lady in charge of the rescue effort is Sarah Burke, her numer is
702-375-4462. The owner of the herd (Sarah is not the owner, she is a volunteer
trying to save these horses acting as an intermidiary) wants to get $400+
depending on age. If you know of anyone who may have the means to help, please
forward this information to them.

In reviewing the information above and doing a quick search on some info- I believe this notice is 'old news' from 08'. Was there a DATE on the Facebook alert?
