TBs in Ocala need home/help

Postby summerhorse » Sun Feb 21, 2010 5:14 pm

This came to my email, lots of horses needing homes!

2/19/10
Dear Fellow horsemen,

The good news is that of the 63 Thoroughbreds from three different farms that were surrendered to the Horse Protection Assn. of Florida between November 28th and December 9th, Thanksgiving weekend, 55 have been adopted. The sad news is that HPAF has taken on 35 more Thoroughbreds that need feed, care, and adoptive homes; in addition to the 68 other horses already at the HPAF farm. The new horses need to be adopted out quickly under a Special Circumstance/Emergency adoption as they must be re homed from their current locations.

All assistance is greatly appreciated; please pass this on to others you think might be interested in giving a home to one of these horses.

Saturday February 20th from 10am to 2pm Open House at Olympic Hill Farm at 13418 NW Hwy 225, Reddick, Florida to view Thoroughbreds available for adoption.

Bring your completed adoption application and pictures of where the horse will live, with you, or email them to [email protected]. No adoptions will be made before we have received an application and photographs from the prospective adopter.

Please see our web site: http://www.hpaf.org/ Most of the horses will be posted on the new rescues page.
