These are the photos they use to advertise their horses and fine breeding establishment! Are they completely blind? I don't usually go after every skinny horse I see online; Craigslist is the worst, wears me out, but usually I just flag these and send a nasty reply message to them about the condition of their horse(s). Maybe I'm just cranky, but if they put these pics online to advertise themselves, then they are fair game to out online.

I made the mistake of reading the blurbs, too . My eyes are bleeding now. and my head hurts.

They can be as weird and eccentric as they want, just wish they'd feed the damn horses! I am half tempted to have someone call and see about :partnering" with them, just to hear the spiel.... Is it that easy to get a trainer's lic. in KY now?

They need to stick with raising vegtables not horses.

Or, give their horses some of those vegetables!

You know thats something I don't understand. There is green grass a plenty and the horses are skinny in those photos?
My horses ( well my jeanie is very round thanks to the Ca. Grass) would be PORKERS. Pigs---- my guys would be unable to stand - they would be so fat..
So whats the deal... grass equals sick horses?

They must be loaded with parasites.

I once ran 4 TB mares with 2 QH mares on knee high coastal burmuda.. the TBs were not as bad as these but they were not fat. The QHs however, looked like hogs ready to go to market and we had to put muzzels on them..

Don't know abut then QHs but the TBs were wormed every month to 6 weeks..

Actually one TB mare did gain too much weight but the other three had to be grained. Also all six mares were less tht 10 YO.

One of my tb mares and foals have always been easy keepers but my other mare and foals have always been hard to keep weight on.
