There is a man in this stupid town that broadcasts that he will pay cash for unwanted horses from anyone. He gives his number and is public about where the horses go,Utah or Canada. He hasn't stopped transporting horses. It won't effect him or this city, he'll continue to collect horses and send them off. It never stopped.
He posted his number online for more horse flesh to come in.

Well, if you buy it for $200.00 and resale it for $400.oo/500.oo to the processing plant, that is making a living. (You will have to substract the costs incurred from purchasing to delivering the horse to the plant).

I agree with Georgez. You may not like what he is doing but its not illegal, and if he was not making a living he would not be doing it.

We are already over populated with horses, worthless and lame to not worthless and lame.....with out these "business men" making a living it would be worse and it is already worse with the close of the markets in the US.

I hate what the horses are used for but it needs to be done. Folks do not have the money to get them put down with a vet, then the fee to have them disposed if, very expensive, have had it done....and no one has a heart to shoot them themself. So it does NEED to be done.

Those looking to take a horse to slaughter....there may be a better more "useful" alternative if you are not looking for money.

There is a place in Spokane WA, and may be more like it just do not know about anymore. But they will take your horse, as long as it is off Bute etc.....they will humanly put the horse down without drugs and have it butchered to feed to their big cats.

I am sure this is not the only place like this. It helps feed another animal where their natural food is meat.
