Clearing input space for "Horse Name:"

I would like to suggest that the blank area used for entering the horse name be provided with a function to clear previously entered information. This would allow to remove the previously entered data and clear the space for a new search.
By adding this feature horse searches will be faster by avoiding having to get into the space and deleting letter by letter.
It could be implemented in the form of an "X" to clear/delete the information similar to other websites.
