late 1980s Horse named Wild Kid

Hello research folks!
I used to be a part owner of a thoroughbred who ran at Pimlico race track. His name was Wild Kid, we claimed him from trainer Reagan and King T. Leatherbury claimed him from us and did quite well.

How can I retrieve old articles of Wild Kid after Regan's ownership? Where do I look?

I'm not sure where one can find actual articles - perhaps the newspaper archives of a local library, but he never won any 'big name' races, so he might not have had much written about him. He did have a nice long career, though - he made 101 starts in eight years, and won 20 times.
