Hi,
I bought a mare on saturday, her name is Tiny Toy. I know she was not a racehorse, but I was wondering if anyone can tell me anything about her.The only info I have on her is she is 17 years old, and she is 17.1 hands tall (it is obvious!). I cannot find her on this site to see her pedigree. I found her on the Jockey Club site, but that doesn't tell me who her parents are, birthdate, etc... I am also wondering if she was bred this year. I was told a vague story from the lady I got her from that she was supposed to be bred, but I am not sure if she was actually bred or reported at least. If she was reported bred, who was the stallion? Anything will help!! Thanks, Brittany

You will need to contact the JC...they are the only means of getting accurate info on your mare...as long as she is a Reg. TB. As for her being bred....if she were bred to another Reg TB and a mares bred report was filed by the stallion owner/Mgr then there should be a record of the breeding on file. How did you find her on the Jockey CLub site? don't you have her papers? her parents will be listed on her papers if you do.

I do own this mare, I do not have her papers yet, nor the mare. i pick them up in 2 weeks. I do get her papers when I pick her up though. I do not even know the owner of the stallion's name, nor the stallions name!! I looked her up online on the jockey club site, don't remember what I clicked on, but I was told by them about a year ago that all registered TBs are listed on their site (name research) unless they are over 10 yeasrs of age and are NOT currently producing TB foals. If they are producing TB foals than they are listed. I think I clicked on research or something, and the option to look at names was on the upper right hand corner above the picture, it is small. I will look at her pedigree on this site. Thank you very much for all your help!!! Brittany
