Ok so he's the 2000 son of Storm Cat and Love from Mom but doesn't show up in her progeny and instead is in La Affirmed's. However, when you click on his name in the list of La Affirmed's progeny, his pedigree chart has his dam as Love from Mom.

Does it just take time for the system to log it in or is something wrong?

Changes to parentage aren't reflected in the progeny query until the database updates, which I believe happens every two nights. It's the same reason why newly added horses don't show up in progeny lists right away. :)
