There was a Grand Prix tb jumper in the 1990's whose show name was Quantum Leap. I believe his registered name was Scarlet Secret, but he could have been the full brother Crimson Royale. He was Secretariat x Crimson Cherry.
Neither of those names are listed for Crimson Cherry.
Is there any way y'all can figure out who he was and get him entered?
How do I do this addition to the database?

Well, if it was definitely one or the other of those two horses, figuring out which will be as easy as finding a color photo of Quantum Leap. Crimson Royale was a dark bay; Scarlet Secret a chestnut.
I added both horses to the database. Once you know who was Quantum Leap, you can add his show name & other info about his second career in the comment field.

His FEI record says he was an 82 model, he was bay, and my APR says that the 82 foal was Crimson Royale. The one color photo that I have seen was of a not dark bay; just a standard, rather reddish bay.
Tonight I downloaded a video of him in a class (took 4 hours on dialup to download 10 minutes) and he was definitely dark bay. Now to get the dam actually verified. If Crimson Cherry is right, then he must be Crimson Royale.
The fact that he was by Secretariat seems to be well known; I've only seen his dam named once, and I'm not certain of the source reliability. He seems to have died this year.

He's here under Quantum Leap.
Secretariat x Crimson Cherry by Crimson Satan
Equine Line
Lists him as Crimson Royale 1982 Dark Bay or Brown Jan 18 1982
7 starts unplaced.
Now if you can verify that the two horses are one and the same?
